It's nothing crazy but a lil vid I put together from the other night

Cliffs:
- Stock GSX1000 w/ good rider gives 351w based Stang 5 cars
& the break, bike has to clear him.
- Mustang usually runs a big N20 hit but was all motor.
- Bike wins...

Need more details on the 351W. Was it just a box stock 351? Either way, a GSXR-1000 is nothing to mess with.

If Joe couldn't beat a Busa after spending almost maybe 7 figures trying to beat one in his TT Ford GT..... Even though the Stang lost traction it's still a losing battle
considering the power to weight ratio.

the busa that jowe lost to was a full drag bike with nitrous

my wifes convertible pulls busas on highway rolls it is very possible to beat a stock busa.

The mustang might have thought he would have had a chance with the ET, as drag racing bikes is very hard. Probably gambling to be quicker but not faster.

But still, if the guy on the bike was half way decent, the mustang would have had to deal with at least a 145 mph trap speed on the bike, never mind potentially low 10's high 9's ET from the bike.

The Stang runs mid to low 9's on nitrous....

Three main problems IMO:
1. Stang's setup is for spray (converter/gears etc)
2. If he can't hook on motor w/ a powerglide & off the footbrake
then he should prob stick to racing at the track
3. The rider (Ed) weighs ~145lbs and can ride

Vid of Ed riding same bike at track + ext swing arm (1.43 60ft DAYUM!)

I remember awhile back after he just installed the twin kit RACING a 351W foxbody and barely catching it at the finish line.. A car setup for drag racing is gonna be competitive against a car made for roll racing at lower speeds. I tried to search for the vid here but couldn't find it.

A box stock 351 with an aluminum drag wing/tubbed/powerglide/slicks would be a touch overkill for a 245 crank hp motor wouldn't you agree. :bash:

:D
Ok, I just got off the phone with HP performance. I was way off on the cost. Joe spent 274-275k on the build.
That's not including the price of the car which was 180k.
It's is now putting down 1450 RWHP
He said it will run at 1100 HP all day long.

Every race ive seen someone take a handicap the handicapped person always loses, either start heads up or dont do it at all. Its not a race unless you start evenly
