My uncle is ready to order a fully loaded GT500 with the Carbon fiber and we can’t find anyone willing to be reasonable? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Dropping off a new ‘19 or ‘20 GT350 for a Whipple or Hellion install isn’t a bad consolation prize is It?About 6 months late. Should have called the small dealers asking about the Shelby program. When they said no, you needed to offer to pay for the program at $2k to get one at msrp. A number of people did this with good success.
Now it’s a wait, a small northern dealer may get one in the middle of feb. they may deal. Best bet in next summer or pay extra. Me personally I’d buy a GT350 or 997 Turbo drive it for 18/24 months then buy the GT500 for msrp.

I’m sure nothing is 100% without risk, but the 350s only real issue of oil consumption has seemed to have been cured with revisions on late 2018s, plus the Voodoo 5.2 is gaining improvements from the 500’s Predator 5.2 (specifically updated strength in the block and heads, improved head flow). Tuners have had many years of learning this tune strategy.
Overall I’d have no reservations doing that until the new 500 is more readily available.
