Shut your whore mouth!
Yep If you are using the thing to its potential on track you better have a lot of throw away money for consumablesEven with ABS programming, those brakes look capable of outperforming the grip of the tire. Just WOW.
Also, if you have to ask the price of a brake job you cant afford that car. Lol
Did the same brakes come on the 2020 GT-500, Nick?
Wonder how much of a difference it makes swapping those to carbon rotors
Not a Fiesta ST.
Yes they did.
About $5,000 difference.
really at the price point of the car, it would seem to me that 5,000 would be well spent there vs additional power. Anything to shave some weight off.
The Z/28 did and the C7Z had the option. But anyway, carbon ceramic rotors aren't worth having on a road course anyway. What at that price point has Carbon Fiber rotors?

Agree 100%.Right, I was just going to point out that at that price range very few cars had them as an option anyways.
It would be stupid to increase the cost of consumables that much just to go out and track it....AND the weight would be negligible for 99% of anyone.
MERICA
I don’t mean from Ford, I mean from someone that’s going to use the car. I wonder what would produce better lap times and maybe more noticeable feel for 5k. Typical power mods or something like the rotors. If I’m spending close to 100k on a car I’m not batting an eye at a 5k mod. What at that price point has Carbon Fiber rotors?

just to be upfront I have zero experience with them on cars at a track but on bikes at the track they were a significant change. Maybe it doesn’t cross over the same for cars.
Are they a major consumable? What’s the life span of ceramic rotors in a track setting assuming pads are mitigated properly?
