Was finally able to take my new SR-762 out last weekend. This was also my first time shooting with the Pig Saddle. If you ever have the chance to get one of these, its well worth it.

How do you like it? I've been thinking of adding one in .308 to my wishlist.

I haven't had it to the range yet. Just got it yesterday. LOL. It looks and feels amazing. You can tell it is very well built. The folding stock is next level badassery. The trigger is by far the best feeling stock trigger I have ever touched.

I going to zero it some time this week, then I'm going to find a range that is at least 400+ yards and see how she runs. I'll let you know how it shoots.

I have an RPR .308, and it shoots great. I have only had it up to 300 yards, but she was very tight with the grouping at 300.

I just left the range. Did a 100 yard zero to hold me over til I can get to a longer distance range.

There are no word to describe how awesome this rifle is. After I got it zeroed, I put the suppressor on it and fired 3 shots back to back... Sub-MOA is an understatement. Half minute group, but 1 bullet almost perfectly went through one of the existing holes.

I'm blown away.

Damnit, why does it have to be so good?

Just got my Safariland model 7384 thigh rig. The retention system feels amazing so far and the pistol is completely secured until you release it with the switch.

Push the little button there on the inside and the pistol slides right out with little friction.

I went through all of my schools with a Safariland rig like this but with the flip down hood. So all my muscle memory is based off of that model. What is noce about this is that it retains that same muscle memory but with an easier release so as soon as I started practicing draws again it was even easier and more consistent then before. Highly reccommend this rig or any model with a similar retention system.

Once I am home, I'll upload the target pics.

As promised, check these shot groups out....

In this picture, I was zeroing the scope at 100 yards. This is a 6" round target with a 1 inch square in the center. You are looking at 3 separate groups.

After I put those groups down, I put the suppressor on it to find the dope for the can. This thing is so accurate that not only is this group of 3 less than 1/2 MOA, but I literally hit the same spot twice. I did a blow-up with arrows to show the 3 holes.

There's a Marine Gunner doing videos on Youtube and he put to rest the whole "suppressor" argument about lost range and accuracy. He was actually seeing on average ~100fps more in muzzle velocity with the suppressor than unsuppressed and accuracy was never affected.

Based on my actual experience, I could not agree more. In fact, I find that on some weapons it takes some of the bite out of recoil and reduces barrel oscillation, which would improve accuracy, if anything.

Also, the increase in velocity is also very accurate. The reason I was testing the dope adjustments is for this very reason. If you notice in the picture I posted, the group is about 4 MOA below the center of the target, but the windage was still perfect. That is because the bullet was flying faster, therefore it was flying flatter. The bullet was going so much faster that it didn't have enough room (within 100 yards) to come up to the "line of sight".
