Damn Nick, you been ripping ass in your chair a lil too much? Lol.

Probably just sitting on my ass too much.

It used to have this super uncomfortable jump in the middle there, now that it's worn down its much more enjoyable haha

Picked up a Springfield HellCat compact to replace my Smith & Wesson Shield for EDC. To be fair I keep at least 3 guns in my car.

11+1 and 13+1 magazines

When i was shopping for my first bolt action about two years ago, there was Bergara, tikka and Christianson which met the MOA and price point I required. Bergara did everything the other two did at a cheaper price from the research I did. But IMO my research doesnt hold much weight. My research consisted of bias paid for youtube videos, facebook group and forum searches.

Got her home and assembled last night just before work. Really good feel, action is smooth, assembly was easy. Larger charging handle which is a common upgrade is a must. Will eventually get to the 2 round upgraded tube from a 5 round to a 7 round. Pretty sure I'll throw a red dot on at some point. Sights are still pretty nice however. Bolt release needs the upgrade as well being so small. Plus if I can reverse the safety I will but definitely not concerned one way or the other on that. Trigger pull is sweet but also upgradeable. Love how the forearm grips sandwich between parts to be firm and not lose. Gonna be a fun weapon no doubt.

Now you got me hankering for an M4. A quick look at these indicates a confusing array of options. Can someone school me on these? Which one do I want and why?

It was between the Beretta 1301, M4 and Mossberg 940. Roughly a grand, 1300 and 2 grand. After lots of videos I opted for the Marine tried and true M4. Already have about 4 upgrades planned. No range time yet...but reviews are all great.

Anyone have an opinion on Christianson Rifles? I am thinking of a new 300 win mag.
I've got their 7mm RemMag and F'n love it.
Also enjoy my Maxim Defense 5.556x45 :)
Both need better glass, but the wifey was simply not going to let me spend more at the gunshow.

Sadly don’t make these anymore but it’s been my favorite intermediate range rifle range setup. She’s a heavy bitch though lol

DPMS REPR topped off with a MK4 LR/T M5
