Its an aero precision lower with heavy buffer and spring and bear creek upper with a Wilson combat longer gas tube and a toolcraft bcg. 20” medium weight barrel. I didn’t go longer so my suppressor wouldn’t make it too long. I also have had a Winchester 70 22-250 for many years. If I didn’t already have a decent amount of ammo, I probably wouldn’t mess with ar22-250 because the case taper can cause magazine feeding issues. I had studied the known problems of gas and buffer systems and got it right for cycling first try. I drilled out the barrel gas port and put the longer gas tube on before I tried it. Also an adjustable gas block for suppressor. It is a blast to shoot it, very accurate! I shot 1.5” groups at 200 yds with it. I also use that lower for a 308

Appreciate it. I know the majority here like the modern and tactical which is perfectly fine. I’m just an old soul; old and busted is what I like. I know there’s another on here that enjoys military surplus but I can’t recall his name. He has a Russian contract lever action that is just gorgeous. I don’t think he’s posted in the thread for a minute, but he might sometime in the future.

My rem 700 22 250 with 26inch heavy bbl shoots sub moa at 200...but its a 1:14 twist so it hates anything over 55grs...but my god it shoots the 40gr bullets...it loves em with 34grs of varget...seeing just about 3700fps at the muzzle
According to two of my reloading books ramshot tac is the most accurate powder and well damned if i didnt just get two lbs of it lol
