I am headed out to do shooting in the morning too. It is not looking good until the afternoon unfortunately.

The forecast has changed three times today, and about ten times this week. It got real lousy again for sure.

Our match director has the ability to get out of his truck at 7:30 AM to set up, and I have watched the clouds part no less than three times at three different matches. I had lunch with him today and am hoping I get to watch it happen again in the morning.

I posted this in RSP but thought I would check here too. I’m in the market for a new soft sided case that can hold an AR, PMags, (2) pistols, mags, ammo, eyes and ears. I’m tired of dragging my Pelican Case, range bag and backpack.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Check that Viper range bag from Bass Pro I listed yesterday. Carries two pistols and one AR. Pistol bag has mag slots for both pistols, and rifle bag has two pockets for AR mags. Pistol bag can be removed from rifle bag.

I bring so much stuff to the range that it's near impossible to carry it all. Instead of chasing down a better case, I bought a Quest "folding sports wagon" from a local sporting goods store. Might help some of you guys too.

I typically bring between 4 and 6 hand guns, between 2 and 4 ruffles, a tackle box full of tools and parts, several cases of ammo, targets, etc. If I were to guess...150-160 lbs of stuff. The wagon makes light work of it, regardless of the load.

Nice rifle! So, what is your primary hunting target?

Thank you. It is mainly deer. I was going to get another .243 but decided on the .270.

My folks are coming down the end of the month. My dad is bringing down my 7mm-Mag. We are going to sight in the .270 and put some rounds through both the .243 and 7 Mag.

Also looking for recommendation for a switch operated torch for my AR. I hope this is the last piece of the puzzle and it will finally be complete. Which lights are you all using??

Ok, so I am building a 6.5 Creed rifle on an AR-10 platform. It has a Dracos barrel and I am looking for advice on what BCG to run. I was looking at JP standard and Low mass BCGs but I get nervous when messing with internal weights on a semi auto. I want to build a long range but reliable rifle. Any other possible suggestions?

If a 6.5 Creedmoor shooter is at the range and nobody is there for him to tell that he shoots 6.5 Creedmoor, do the shots make a sound?

It was a muddy day for a pistol match but 55 people still showed up in the rain, then it stopped and we only had to start 20 minutes late.
Yeah we lucked out. We brought a tent just in case, but got pretty lucky.
