Two summers ago I went wih my family, I have to say Hawaii was the best place I have ever gone to just beautiful.

I used to work giving surf lessons right behind "The Duke" statue... man those were the days!

haha, that's sandy's. I grew up in that neighborhood and surfed there growing up.

We went last spring. Instead of hotels we rented our own house with privacy and a pool. MUCH better option IMO plus it was cheaper than a hotel/resort for ten days.

My wife and I went to Maui back in 1999 and loved it. People were super friendly. Glad you had a good time.

I've got most of those same shots!!!! That lagoon is just a short walk from the parking lot and I think alot of people don't see it. Pearl Harbor really made me reflect on things I take for granted! Good pics man, thanks.

i really need to go. I have a free place to stay and eat and free transportation, all i have to buy is the plane ticket and i get to go. Anyone know how much round trip down there would be?

I can surf somewhat........but didn't get a chance too....It was all about family time this vacation.

Not to sure what the rates for Hotels are. We stayed at the Hale Koa which is a Military Resort/Hotel right next to the Hawaiian Hilton Village Resort. I payed about $120 a night with and ocean view room. My guess would be the other hotels run anywhere from $300 + a night. When you do go to Hawaii, most definitely get rental car and drive around the island.........get away from Waikiki.
