Closed the cutouts and drove around to see how they sound, and the stock mufflers sound like garbage.

im sure he had the nut through the shaft on the wrong side.
and what me and my buddies have done for headers hitting the shaft is drive the car for awhile and get them hot, then stick a big pry bar against it and bend it

One of the bolts on the lower knuckle on the drive shaft was about a 1/4 turn too loose. Couldn't believe it lol. And while I was under the car I rechecked the space between the header and drive shaft, and it has about 1/8 in of clearance.
