Guys,

Was wondering how much boost will the car need to hit the 9's if the tune is spot on?

List of mods:

-Aluminator 11.1 with MMR billet oil pump gears installed
-Hellion twin turbo kit
-62/66mm ball bearing turbos
-BBR ORX pipe, no muflers
-Circle D-2C for turbo
-MMR Head coolant mod.
-Steeda W.P. aluminum pulley
-BBK 85mm throttle body
-Electronic/Programable Boost controler
-ID-1000's + Vortech boost a pump + Billet pro shop Billet fuel rails
-MSD two Step
-3.31 rear gears
-Full Interior
-Rear 15 x10 SVE wheels with hoosiers 28 or 26in tall tire (full slick)

Something else I might be forgetting.

I would like to run 9.99 @ whatever MPH on 93 oct. Pump gas @ the lowest amount of boost possible to achieve that until get comfortable with the new power.

Thanks folks!

**EDIT** I could've swear i read "manual trans" somewhere in there lol
but you should certainly hit 9s with less than 10psi, however i doubt you'll have enough fuel pump for more than 7 ish psi.
I'd say 8 or 9psi should do the trick, but i doubt the stock pump will let you go past 700whp

there is a local guy on here who has gone 9's with the Hellion kit and BBR tuning... Hopefully one of them will chime in and tell you what you need. Or just give Steve@BBR a pm/call.

^ Stock fuel pump ?

Full Jackal Return. We don't recommend anything over 650 on a stock fuel pump.

Car went 9.8s at full weight on 17lbs and pump. Now it's on E85 and just waiting on the weather to break so we can get it back there.

Hellion's car with an aluminator, 4r70w, twins, and return style fuel system just went a 9.40s in OK couple weeks ago

Weather was crap too.

Hope your right!
One of my best friends is almost going 9s with the Paxton @ 10.5psi
On red line. His car hauls ass.
Hopefully, I can do the same with equal boost and the hellion?

Put it this way, 10.5psi should give you close to 900whp if not more.
You should definitely be able to run 9s with that HP, unless you're having horrible traction issues or some type of driver error.

The car that went 9.8's full weight

9.0.1 on a MPR built motor

No. It recently went 9.4s. Full weight and all that jazz.

Yes. The "Nightmare" car went 9.8s on pump and full weight including the leather jacket in the back seat

Hellion's car went 9.4s but that is also full weight on a 9.5.1 aluminator

I know the Lund Racing TT5.0 (yes kind of apples and oranges) went 9.3x @ 155 on 21psi with over 4,000lbs of weight and 22psi, on 19" wheels. That was the most impressive one to me imo. It went 9 flat on 21 pounds.
