if its a PATs issue
1) the car WILL crank but will not start because the fuel pump wont run.
2) The likely hood of 2 keys loosing PATs recognition at the same time is nill
3) if it was a pats issue you wont have any fuel at the rail and would never hear the pumps prime/get any voltage. You would also have dashes on the odometer and a rapidly flashing theft light. I know because I took a cut but not programmed key and tried it to see what happens.
