HI Guys!!! new to the forum

Hi Guys just I heard this is the place to be for Cobra SVT owners...... I'm picking up an 2003 SVT this weekend!!! I finally pulled the trigger on one....just been waiting fir the right one, and I got it!!!

So lets just say I have gone full circle, back when I was 17yrs old a had an '86 notch back that I painted 1993 cobra red and built the motor all on a high school budget, and it came out great for a 17yr old and it ran a 13.6 on street tires..... After that I built up an '88 t-bird 2.3 turbo and got close to 300hp out of it and then I was sold on turbos....... So I went into VWs had a few turbo dubs and the last 5 yrs I have been building up BMW$!!! I had a really nice '97 M3/4 that I supercharged twice, and got 450whp with the 2nd setup. Now I currently have a '95 M3 with a BIG turbo putting out close to 600whp, and now I looking forward to this SVT. I really like these car, the power and the fact you can daily drive this with 500whp!!!! Just what I've been looking for since my turbo M is just too wild for the streets.......

just got it home!!!!

Just got the SVT home!!! I went and pick her up this morning and drove it back home. Totally happy with this purchase(knock on wood) but yeah drove it back a little over 100 miles and it rides really nice!!! The guy bought it a year ago this month with 17,900 miles and I bought it with 18,500 miles....... Just needs to be lowered and 10.5 and 315s out back and that's it for me......ok maybe a few more motor mods but not going crazy with this. It's got all the mods I wanted and then some!!!

I will get some pics up after I give it a bath.....:thumbsup:

MOMs racer here, ran from 97 to 04 before moving to Florida. My wife helped Mel and Mom in the tower and I did newsletters for a couple years, still close with alot of racers.

I will be there!!! I tried to make this but too busy, and forgot the last race day was on Sunday....... Yeah I used to race MOMS back in the late '90s like I stated earlier I have GONE full circle!!!!!
