That’s funny and sad all at once.... the local concert venue here that we go to literally 4-8 shows a year has decided to stop using plastic straws.. so they have paper straws now.... what garbage! They are mushy within 10-15 min.... is this what the future holds for us. Driverless cars and paper straws while everyone is smoking weed...... not sure I fit into that mold....lol
Disney world in FL is going that way.
I have considered making custom wooden straws with a nice wooden carrying case. Cleaning instructions and safety warning included.
I must be out of the loop. Are we really scared of plastic straws now? Christ. Bunch of pussies in our country.
Then someone would try to sue for a splinter at some point.

my wife and I were on vacation in Key West this week, couple places we ate at had plastic straws, as said, mushy and useless in 5 minutes, their war on plastic straws is hilarious, but everyone you see has a plastic water bottle of some sort
