Is it correct the base model saleens are being sold for 40k+?
I thought i saw a post that Roush was selling the base model Roushes for 24k+?

I really like the saleen version, especially in the front, the back in i would have to see in person to change my opinion of it. Hope you enjoy your car...just feel sorry for your wallet if it's as expensive as i think it is

All in all I think saleen has the best mustang out of all the different tuners. I think it looks sweet, nice purchase. Youre not going to be kicking yourself this summer when the S281E is released are you?

Yea, the car looks alot better in person. The part that tripped me out was the exhaust. I'm not sure if Saleen did this in the past. But it breaths threw the center during cruise, then when you get on it, it exits threw a less restrictive 2nd pipe.

The car is very quiet inside, and yet has a good throaty sound when you get on it.

Yea, I believe the Roush's your talking about have nothing at all but the body kit done to them, other than that they are just regular GTs

Isn't the Saleen pretty much the samething(base model)?

I thought the base model Saleens had a few upgrades which included more than just the body kit :shrug:. If it doesn't, then I don't see why the Saleen body kit would cost so much more than the Roush.
