Just got out from seeing it and thought it was ok. I thought part 1 had more to it in my opinion. It also seems setup for a third if they decide to make one.

Really disappointed to see the Rotten Tomatoes scores. I had hoped it would be decent. I try to not waste the money on anything with scores that bad, but I still might just because, as said above - been waiting 20 damn years.

I want to see one of these "End of the World" movies where the hero says at the end of the movie.

"OH SHIT!"

And then the Earth and all the people on it are destroyed.

That's the only way I can see to prevent terrible sequels.

Unless you're easy to please, the movie kinda sucked. The special effects were nice but nothing you wouldn't expect out of a big Hollywood movie in 2016. I get tired of a cast that looks like models to a major clothing brand and a lot of what happens away from the action is cliché and easy to predict

I was really excited to see the movie and was totally disappointed. The first one was awesome and I still enjoy watching it, but this was one just sucked, I hated the special effects.
