These were taken the day after Christmas... Clear weather and terrible drivers. I wished a Cougar was near to maul a few tourist that decided to unload their van in the middle of the driveway after getting stuck on a ice patch.

The family and I were up there on the 27th. The weather was perfect, we did a little hiking and the normal site seeing. Such a awesome place to go in the winter and to just get out of town even for just a little day trip. Here are a few pics we took.

I remember your thread. I go to the park 4-5 times a year. I'll be back at Cloud's Rest and I'll take pics for that one.

I see that you are from Modesto :0 We were there on the 26th, just to get out of town for the day, couldn't beat the weather. To bad they are on flood watch in the valley this weekend.

The tundra not so much

It's got a strong motor, way better than Ford's 5.4 of the same year. Goofy interior though, not a fan of the cartoonish buttons and hollow-sounding doors. They got a good deal on it, can't complain too much.

The majesticity (you read that right) of the last picture, and just as much the previous pictures in this thread, do an excellent job of belittling my existence.

I was in Yosemite in the Spring of '85. The legend is i screamed for 3 hours on my Grandmas lap.... i was 3 months old.

My youngest son and I did the Panorama Trail, and went into the back country overnight, in the summer of 2012. Amazing and spiritual place.
