Just got a Terminator, and 68 Miles later it's broke.

Last night doing the EGR, just playing around with the throttle body.

It was full of soot build up. Not sure if its from the PCV system or the EGR. The actual intake tube which has the vent tube going to it was clean.

Spent a mind numbing 6 hours washing, clay baring, micro polishing and waxing the car. Came out great, but it desperately needs paint correction.

EGR gone, a lot more work is needed to make this baby look good however.

Junked the OEM ball joints for some extended proforged. For a car with only 40k miles it's amazing how much of it's beat to hell. My '05 190k mile Tacomas ball joints look new still.

SR Camber plates look great. Bearings are made in the USA as well, so they aren't some Chinese junk.

Well I am back at it again, kinda.

I think I had another thread about a fuel consumption issue. I bought a Dyna earlier this summer and basically that's all I've cared about. I did take the Cobra out to a friends for the Mayweather fight...

Filled up that morning, and almost ran out of gas going home. Like 78 miles on the odometer. No apparent fuel leaks. I jacked the car up today, got it running, looked all under it, nothing. It doesn't blow fuel either when giving it gas. Nothing in the engine bay. It does sound like maybe there is a vacuum leak, but I can't tell if it's just the S/C.

More diagnosis to come. Still haven't done a Compression Test.

Damn dude, You've been through absolute hell with this car. Seeing stuff like this makes me want to take the $15-$18k i put aside for a Terminator and just use it as a down payment for stock 07-12 GT500

I applaud your patience man. At least you have the know how to fix the previous owner's BS. When you're done it'll be a whole new car.

This! Corbic, you're perfectly suited to tackle a car like this. Most "normal" owners would have given up long ago or vented their anger/frustration here. If you ever sell it, the next owner must reference this thread and know that they're getting a solid car with nary an issue to worry about. ;) Keep up the good work.

I agree. I think I’d of cut my loses along time ago and just got another one.

Honestly, while I appreciate your diligence and time you've taken to fix this car, but this has turned into a 15 page soap opera. Please take no offense, but I would have dumped this thing way back. It's been a interesting thread, and I have know issues with it, just voicing my opinion as a member, not a mod here.
