Bob, I originally had the Tri-Ax and also thought it was too noisy. I returned it and decided to go with the Pro 5.0. I LOVED my Tri-Ax when I had my 01 Cobra:-D

Did you notice that your Pro 5.0 was quieter than the Tri-Ax? Do they have better noise insulator hardware?
