Like I said on MF, I know this is nitpicking but I really don't like the dipstick they are using now. That large yellow handle looks cheap, and I bet its the long, thin metal dipstick. I like ours a lot, its much easier to read compared to the other kinds.

The parking break handle is not very nice looking either. But my biggest complaint is the platform. They are using the Lincon LS platform correct? It would be nice if the mustang would get its own platform someday, instead they went from sharing one platform, to sharing a new platform

Nope, not sharing a platform. It's using its own dedicated platform.

Its a variant of the Lincoln LS plaform (DEW98) but they only used that as a starting point. I believe this platform is called the S197 platform and will be unique to the mustang.

I saw the 05 at Colorado Mustang Specialists today and I wasn't really impressed. I agree about the interior. I didn't like the porno red. I thought Ford invested a lot of money and time in the interior design?

I expect it will grow on me, much like the 94 redesign did after a few years.

Thanks. I'm going to try ten degrees.
