Absolutely right! First, the parents should have called for a government-supplied bus or taxi cab to take the kid, Second, how dare the parents allow the child to play a dangerous game such as soccer? Why, he might be hurt, and add to our nation's already high health care burden. Worse, his team might have won by a wide margin, thus destroying the other team players' self-esteem. Government at all levels must step in to stop this endangerment. Remember the socialist credo: "Everything that is not banned is mandatory".
Sounds like a bunch of shit. I rode my bike or walked to school when the weather was nice out all the time. I lived a lot farther away then that. Only time I got a ride was during the winter time or if it was Raining. But that is what is wrong with most of Americans today, all kids should grow up in a Glass House. But hell let's just let them sit inside and play video games and eat junk food. Then wonder why some of them get Fat and picked on. I would call all my neighbors and tell them to mind there own ****ing Business.
So are you supposed to be tethered to your kid 24/7 and if they have a friend over make sure you tie them up so they don't wander away
From K thru 6 grade I had walk to school about 2/3 of a mile. You mean to tell me my parents were endangering my welfare and only now I realize this? I'm 47 and I wonder if the statute of limitation has expired. If not, my parents ass's should be thrown in the slammer :cuss:
