Young black rat snake or eastern massasauga rattlesnake. :shrug:
Whats scary is that it looks like a rattle snake but I don't see a rattle

Those are too bad to keep around........sucks you had to kill it but its understandable.
Someone on another forum said that the eastern milk snake has a U or Y pattern on the back of their heads

Spiders and snakes are the same in my book, wasn't taking the chance of it being a copperhead and being in my garage.
was Eastern Milk Snake on your list?
people from Tioga county atleast call a milk snake (usually the darker colored ones) a Spotted Adder...totally harmless snake although they will draw blood on the back of your index finger...
