well the solid axle in the mach1 would explain why there was no wheel hop in the one i test drove b4 i bought mine. i noticed a quicker throttle reponse in the mach1 also

Yup. A lot of guys have been finding GT's that want to swap their 8.8's for the IRS. I'm going to take my chances and build up the IRS a bit, do some basic ugrades and see what direction I want to go from there.
