What did you run with your bone stock mach1? 03-04

13.4 @ 105 mph with a 2.19 60' time.

This was 100% stock down to the hard factory tires & the paper air filter.

There was a 12.9X run in the car with better weather & lots more practice launching/driving.

I immediately started modding the car though - I planned to run 11's on the stock engine which I eventually did...

Definitely capable of 12's with a couple mods on street tires.

The fastest I ran stock was 13.3@104, then I put a set of slicks on, the car still be stock except for tires ran 12.8@104 still.. Now that I have added some bolt ons it has ran some 12.0's@112+mph N/A On the N20 I have ran a best of 11.22@122mph.. I am hoping the next time I go to the track I will run some 11.9's on motor and 10.9's on N20.. The motor is still bone stock, just I have full exhaust, CAI, fully built drivetrain, rear suspension, drag tires and rims, and some weight reduction..

Did you have any sfc's when you put slicks on with stock everything else?

No the car was stock and I only had it for 2 months when I took it to the track.. I borrowed a friends slicks.. It was the same night I ran the 13.3 on stock Goodyears.. That was the only pass I made on slicks then I took them back off.. I was scared to break the stock rearend that night and I didn't like the walking around of the slicks down the 1/4 mile.. That was my 2nd time being on slicks and 1st time going down a 1/4mile track on them so it made me nervous.. My buddy broke his rearend on his mach the same night and it was built up with strange 31 spline axles.. He snapped an axle on the line.. That was the main reasone I took the slicks off and ran the street tires..

Bone stock! Paper filter, stock Goodyears, full tank of gas, and 230lbs of driver. Amazing what good air can do for you!

My buddy went 13.1@107mph stock in his blue Mach 1. I'm mad because that is what my cobra runs with FIPK.
