I bet another member of the FD that a my sawsall could take the roof off a car way faster than the jaws of life, he disagreed. The following week we had a race to see which was faster.

He was on one side of a demo car, I was on the other, there were 25 people standing around watching. Someone shouted go, I cut through the A, B and C pillars with my Dewalt 18volt sawsall before he was even finished with the A pillar on his side. The next day the fire company bought 3 cordless Dewalt sawsalls and put one on every engine.

Whats the point? If the car is totaled, just remove all the good parts and have one of those hauling places come and buy it from you for $100 and take it away.

Tried that. No luck. I was offer 5.00 if I took the car to them of pay 60 to have them come get it. There is a big dumpster that just got drop off in my neighborhood so why not use it like everyone is.

Some tweaker with a welder is going to pull that thing out of the dumpster and weld it back together. Look for it in about 6 months on craigs list.
