Made a new -10AN line for the oil return. It was my first AN line ever made and I think it came out pretty good. Hopefully no leaks. I had to grind the shit out of the fitting that goes to the drain pan because it is incredibly close to my damper. I thought i followed the vortech instructions to tap an oil pan to a T, but mine is very close. Here is the old junk I replaced:

Wasn't super comfortable having rubber fuel lines that practically touched my hotside even though the hotside is wrapped, so i figured stainless/AN fittings would give me more piece of mind. Note where I grinded lol

Also my fidanza aluminum flywheel, tremec 26 spline input, lethal TOB retainer sleeve, FRPP TOB and FRPP pilot bearing all showed up. I am hoping to do the clutch this weekend and get some miles on her very soon.

Probably time for an update. Got the new RXT, 26 spline and fidanza aluminum flywheel in the car. Got about 150 miles on it so far, liking this clutch! Just need to make an appt with Pete at performance dyno and we should be ready to see what she does

First clutch job in any car ever and first time dropping a transmission.

Removed shifter bezel

Harbor freight tranny jack. $85! Wasnt too bad pulling the tranny out but I assume this jack will make it MUCH easier putting the tranny back in

Dirty TOB and fork. My TOB never made any noise, but it sounded like a baby's rattle when I shook it! New FRPP going in

Here is how the engine bay sits now as well. Hoping to clean up some of the vac lines, polish the intake tube, paint the alternator, and powdercoat the valve covers wrinkle ford blue this winter.

Also got my NEW recaros in. The old ones I had were the "S" model which I did not like since they had the lower thigh bolsters. So i sold them for a profit and bought brand new recaro Speeds. Love how theses seats look and feel.

Awesome build! My cobra is going to be very similar in setup to yours, looking forward to seeing what you put down on the dyno!

Nice work, any trouble getting the tranny to slide all the way back into place on the dowels? I had to resort to gently tightening the bolts when I did my TOB a year ago.

YES. I was cursing and throwing tools everywhere because I couldnt get it in that last 1/4". I did some research and found that it is normal to have to snug the bolts up to get it to slide in that last 1/4" or so. After that it was cake.

Is your car in Quincy now? If you ever need an extra set of hands, I'm more than happy to help you out. Car is coming together quite nicely.

Some crappy cell phone videos with open downpipe last night when I was driving around breaking in the clutch. Sounds like a freaking jet! Tentative tune appt next saturday.

Good job on all of your hard work and awesome write-up with the pix. I wish I had done the same thing as I am about to finish my car hopefully this weekend. I have been working on mine on and off for about three months with all the OT I have been working and traveling for my job it's been hard to find time to work on the car.

Got to the dyno last weekend and was having an overboosting issue. Couldnt figure it out there so I left having only made a pull to around 4000 or so. Made 526 or something like that. Turns out one of my vacuum lines was ripped. Got that all sorted out and now the setup is making boost perfectly. Now it is just a matter of waiting for the weather to be clear to get back to the tuner for some full pulls. I have a video of it i can upload tonight
