I know temp and DA play into effect a little bit.

DA was 1100' and temp was 95.

10mph headwind.

I just find it strange how some 5.0s are running low 12's/high 11's tune only and you have turds with tunes maybe hitting high 12's and at a slow mph.

You can't compare the best times you see when your almost running in 100 degree weather.

ok settle down...

first , people who are running 11's on a tune and drag radials with a A6 car are in a very small minority who have super freak cars.

secondly, your 60' is only off about a half a tenth... 1.95 60' are about average for stock gear/converter A6 cars with your mods.

your mph should be around 112+ , but your e.t. is pretty solid...stock '13 A6 cars usually go around 13.0@110

Stay calm and keep racing

Yeah I just needed to vent.

I just felt embarrassed that I could hardly turn the tires over in the burnout box once the psi was down to 15. Which in turn wouldn't heat them up resulting in 2.1 60's.

Ill try again in the mid fall.

JPC tune has peak timing very low. Most people who data log their tunes are only showing 22* peak. If you want a strong auto tune for your 13 try Amazon, I ran a 12.2 @ 116 with tune and DR's. VMP and Brookspeed also have good auto tunes. Also here bbr has a good tune but peak timing hits 30.

Hope you get everything sorted out. my car went bone stock 12.45 @ 112 (1.83 60ft stock pirellis) in December. I just went 12.3 @112 in July 80plus degrees, all i added was gt500 a/b and ET streets (1.68 60ft)

My best time stock in my 13 GT A6 (premium car, 3.15 gear) was 12.79@110. (less than 500 miles on the car) Went back around last thanksgiving, with a JPC tune and axleback on some worn out d/r's and finally got it down to 11.80's@117(best MPH, 1.8x 60'). The average MPH was low 116's/high 115's. For reference, same day, loaded the "canned" diablo tune it went 12.1/.2's @ 114-115, 1.9x 60'. I forget what the weather was like, but it wasn't 100 degrees like it is today.

Now i'm convinced my buddy, has a freak. I've witnessed his BASE A6 13 GT run 12.40@112 with drag radials and skinnys. Tuned, longtubes, E85, (minor weight reduction, no spare, aluminum control arms) he runs 11.10-11.20@120-121 mph now. Car is a freak.

I seem to be on par with your friend... bone stock was 12.6s... so skinnies and drs, I'd be at 12.4 I'm sure.

I can't wait for it to cool off in Texas... I'm hoping to have some bigs and Littles and maybe a shot by that time.

Ok I've made some hits on the streets this morning.

Cutting 1.7's at least.

Why can't I hook at the track....

+1100?!?!

How did you calculate that? The weather in houston won't even sniff below 2000 for 10 more weeks. I'm betting the DA was 2500+ when you ran. Houston summers aren't called the "armpit of America" for no reason. Lol. The heat and humidity combo is awful. My NA 02 C5Z in houston would trap 113s in +2700 typical August and as much as 117 in a mineshaft, arctic cold front induced -1000 feet in February. Houston has WILD swings in DA throughout the year and your car's performance, especially NA, will reflect the conditions

Well, I got that from a guy that looked it up on some online calculator.

But I believe it if it really was higher.

Ok new question....

Is there a difference between turning off Traction Control and disabling it entirely?

If you hold it down for x amount of seconds it turns it completely off?

I heard it will still pull timing if you launch hard and only hit the TC button once to turn it off. If that makes any sense?
