keep at it

Got to get those sixties footers down to 1.6 and you will see a huge difference on the big end. Also you got to take in to account your car weighs two tons and your car is near stock. Just keep at it. If it was easy to go 11s or 10s there would be no point. Things to try: lower control arms, dyno tune (really makes a difference), more track time and colder air. You will get there just wait until you are 3 tenths away from 10s thats when it gets to be a pain in the ass.

Two close friends have 12 and 13 GT's that are both in the 11's with not much done. The 12 has headers, x pipe, catback, cai, 3.73s and a tune and he's ran numerous 11.2s @ 122-123mph on slicks, low 1.6 60'. The 13 has 3.73s, alum driveshaft and a cai and its gone 11.8s @ 117mph, low 1.6 60', with no tune, 28" slicks. The 12 has 100+ passes on it with countless 5500 rpm launches all on a stock rearend and axles with zero problems. You have to pound that car if you want good et's when youre tracking it, its not going to break!

You would really be pissed if you lived in West Texas. You would trap 107-108mph on a good day with your mods.

I'm guessing that 11.2 was trapping faster than 122

neither of those cars has run those times on those mods unless they have pulled 500lbs of weight from both of them.
