Quick run down ,hope to put the motor in after the first of the year and I HOPE to have it 75% to 80% done by MW ,as of right now it will have a roller cam 351, tremec 5-speed combo and Gateway Classic front suspension and AJE rear set-up with a 8.8 in the back .going to take out the rear end this Friday nite and then Chris is going to Mini tub the back ,LOL .

He's going to get me about another inch or so of room for tires . Also have some goodies from Scott Drake for it and will be working with TMI for some cool seats in the next year

This is a slow process ,but it's coming along.

Think of a car you would see in Car Craft so to speak ,looks cool under the hood and inside ,but it's not a show car.................it will be BEAT ON LOL
That's what I'm going for ,no show paint just go enjoy shows and events with it ,I want to do the next HotRod Power tour ,but it will not be ready by then and it comes to NC this time too

Got the 8.8 rear end and one side is almost done and I'm not using the BBS wheels ,dont know what I going to run on it yet .Also we put the tub as close as you get without cutting up the back seat ,did not want to get into that and I'm keepping the seat too ,like the look

UPDATE 12/24/12
Got the tubs sealed and rust proofed ,Chris has one shock tower plate almost in and getting ready to do the other one soon . We test fitted the rear end and it will have to be cut down by a inch or so ,looks like I will be able to get a big 275 or smaller 285 under it ,got to see how much to cut and what back spacing I'm going with on the wheels. looks like a lot of fun!
the bbs' would look sick on that fastback. my only thoughts would be to add an efi system like ez-efi or something similar.

That's going to be an awesome project when you finish. I like the fact that you're making this a fun driver vs. a show car. :)

Looks great! The hot rod black looks cool, but I liked the teal color too, oddly enough lol.

The BBS would look sick, I don't think I've ever seen a set on a classic mustang.

The old wheels look cool too though, you rarely see that style wheel in that size. Very clean look.
