My new GT-R: Violent Blue

After selling my 2009 GT-R to a German I went out and searched for another GT-R. I got myself a 2012 Deep Blue Pearl GT-R Black Edition. The car was located in Dallas and I flew back to the states to pick it up. I took it, drove it 1600 miles and 24 hours from Dallas to NYC while going to my best friend's wedding. Now the car is on it's way to get shipped to Belgium so I can enjoy it and begin modding.

And you are probably asking yourself what's the end goal? 1000whp. I made 800whp on my last car but would like to push the envelope further.

Love it!!! What was the reason of the selling the other one? Aren't they 90% the same with some suspension adjustments?

Thanks guys. I got a good offer on the white one from a German friend so I went ahead and sold it. I saw this one a few months later and had to get it. This car will get upgraded GTX30R's like the last car did. Those turbos are 1000whp capable on a fully built engine and transmission which both I will be getting done as soon as it arrives.

Congrats on the new purchase. Love the color! Get some satin/machine finished wheels on it and it will set it off quite nicely. I'd say the only thing I don't like are the stickers which seem a little silly to me, but that's just my opinion.

That blue is awesome! I honestly don't know anything about the colors GTR's are offered in, or production numbers or anything like that, but it really seems like the vast majority I have seen are black, white, or gray/silver.

I personally like the white better, but the blue is a nice color, too. I definitely like your goal of 1,000hp. Keep us informed.
