My Nitrous Passes 150 & 175 Shots

Couple weeks since ive put on the Nitrous Express Kit, went 10.76 on a 150 Shot and 10.55 on a 175 Shot....

idle launch stock converter it was a 1.52 60ft.....i think itll do a 1.49, that was the only 175 shot pass i made in the car so ill need to make a couple more to compare runs...

It's got more in it with a better tune for the trans. Seemed like it was shifting a bit early.

i dont think the car can shift any different then it does...it shifts at 6500 rpm and pulls to 7000 rpm going over the line....it hits hard as hell on the 1-2 shift pretty good on the 2-3 and 3-4....from what ive seen from online vids of the autos they all seem to shift about the same with tuning....i could be wrong but im quite happy with how the tranny shift points were setup by lidio....i havent driven another auto to compare it to but he runs the same 93 tune on his own car so i cant imagine him not giving himself the best engine and tranny tuning possible....

so far about 6 passes on the 150 shot and only the 1 on the 175 shot....im gonna hit it with the 200 in the next couple weeks....will be holding my breath when i do but Im going for it on 100% straight C16 race fuel so i think itll be ok....im not gonna hit it with a 200 shot over and over and over again just gonna try it and see if it holds together....lol i think im rolling the dice doing it but i plan on doing a fully forged shortblock setup for tons of spray down the road....for now im comfortable running 10.70's on a 150 shot....once i do the 200 shot ill post up the results but im thinking itll go a high .30 or better...

Prolly spray 50+ lbs on a 200rwhp shot on 93 with some torco. It should be fine. -9 degrees of timing from a custom tune. Destroyed my twin disc ram tho. Ur auto should handle it better. Good luck and great times.

EDIT: I just noticed your best NA mph is 119 and your best 150 shot mph is 127. Why dont you think its picking up more mph?

I have been told by few different people to run Unleaded race gas like MS109 or Sunoco 104. Because all the leaded race gas leaves film over O2's. And the widband does not register accurate.

im not running cats so im not worried about them and as far as the o2's its possible to damage them with the leaded fuel but im only running a few gallons of it at the track and otherwise im straight 93 octane...

its actually up about 15-16mph.....i average around 114 in the 1/4....my best of 119.5 was spinning and with a massive tail wind.....i usually run mid to low 11.90s n/a at 114-115 so taking that into consideration its right around 1mph per 10-12 hp spray which i think is about where it should be.....on the 175 it went 129 which is about 15mph above my n/a averages....im thinking if i do hit it with the 200 shot i should break 130mph threshhold and hopefully into the 1.48-149 60ft area....hoping for 10.30's!

Good luck! Very interested to see how the tranny/engine handles the 200 shot. Any plans for a better convertor?

Are you running race gas with the 150-75 shot? I am adding some VP gas to mine(mix with 93),if i can ever get to the track without it raining:cryying:

That thing gets out. Nice car and congrats on your time. Judging by the MPH you had to have a damn good 60 ft
