New D40 pics.**56K warning**

Showed the wife Graves and 04sleepers pics on here (among others), and my devious plan worked, haha! Been hinting about how nice it would be to have a decent camera and she went out and bought me a D40 for a early Birthday present.
Anyway feel free to lend me any pointers on settings and what not, could of used some better light but was just wanting to shoot a few. Shots were done in "P mode" with auto ISO going from 200 - 1600. Still learning the ins and outs of all the settings and features but any help would be appreciated!

Congrats on the new purchase! I'm addicted to my XTi, check out some books or YouTube videos. They will help you out alot and a tri-pod is a def. for some good shots!

Congrats on the D40. Nice B as well. Don't recall seeing that one before.

I recommend picking up the book Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson. It will shed quite a bit of light on your camera settings and when to use them. You'll be off the Program mode in no time.
