I forgot about this project. Kudos for sticking with it. It's unique and definitely something different. Those white steel wheels are freaking awesome looking on that car.
Great thread, and that is awesome you got it fired up. If it didn't have a 5 lug swap, that car would be a perfect candidate for some 10 holes.
Thanks for the compliments! I actually drove the car yesterday! It's not done I still have a list of things I have to do but I wanted to get to the test drive to make sure nothing was majorly wrong with it. So far, so good!
Yeah. The white was a plastidip to sample if I would like it, and I definitely do. I just need to pick up 2 more and have a set powder coated white. I already have 2 spares at home just waiting for paint.
Funny, I was thinking the opposite. I like the black wheels better. The white doesn't really match th color on the car at all. The black makes the wagon look more low key and sneaky.
I like both! The black definitely compliments the sleeper look of the car, but if I ever get the car painted and go for more "show" then a set of powder coated wheels would definitely set it off just right!
Thanks! Now that I have driven it, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! 351w, torsen t2 geared at 3.27:1, and cobra r brembo front brakes, and t56. Those are some of the last pieces of the puzzle.
