From what my buddy told me was they have a big turn out every year the Wednesday before thanksgiving. Since everyone is off the next day from work more people come out to race. I think it's like king of the hill or something they call it. It's a time trial event.
Everyone I knew who was going backed out bec of cold weather or having to cook stuff for thanksgiving so I didn't go either.
