so would it be bad if I add. aftermarket control arms, subframe connectors, aluminum driveshaft and a set of aluminuim heads?
In my opinion, go ahead and do it. My car has aluminum heads, B-303 cam, off-road X pipe, flowmasters, panhard bar, subframe connectors, torque arm and a few other mods. Aside from the subframe connectors everything is bolt on and I have every original part except the factory air box (still looking for one). It's fantastic and I wouldn't change a thing. I track it and take it to shows. When the weather is good I take it to work once in a while or I'll take one of my kids to sports practice or a game. It feels and sounds like the race car that it is. I bought it this way and was glad to find it. It has approx 24,000 miles and still looks and smells new. I could put it back to original any time but it's too much fun the way it is. Sometimes I think about buying a wrapper car to go along with this one, but then I ask my self what I would do with it.
I went MSD. Mine is heavily modded, with 11k miles. You don't have a wrapper car, you have a driver. Make it the driver you want it to be. So what if there's only 249 of them. It sucks when they go up in value so much that you don't want to beat them anymore. Enjoy it while you still can.
I agree^
