Went to the track today with a couple of friends. Nice weather--52 degrees. Previous best was 12.41 @117. Today was 12.38 @116 -- 1/8 mile was 8.04 @88 mph 1.87 60 ft. Car has 20" rims on front with 275/40/17 drag radial with 3.31 gears(6 speed). car is completely stock no tune with hush power flowmaster mufflers. pretty pumped up with these times-hopefully i can get a set of skinnies for the front before i run it again. would love to run some low 12's or possibly high 11's. What do you guys think.:shrug:

Because it has drag radials and mufflers. Drag radials will cut an easy .5sec off your ET. On my coupe with 275 street tires my best was a 12.3@116, I put a set of OLD 7 year old worn out slicks on it and went down to 11.7@118. Stock is just that, STOCK. Your title should read "New PB stock 2011 GT WITH DR's" Its near stock but DR's are a big deal when it comes to your ET.
That said, that's a really solid time for only having DR's, the 3.31 rear gears and 20's up front. I'm thinking 12.0's can be had with a set of skinnies up front. Toss in some 3.73's and you could deff get into the 11's. What were your 60' times like?

Yea, maybe i should have added the DR's. Never thought of that. Normally when i hear people say stock i think of the motor and tune in a car--if it's still got the stock factory tune or aftermarket. Only had a 1.87 60ft.

Stock meaning stock tune and motor leaves a lot for interpretation. I consider my car to be nowhere near stock, but it was "stock" as of the tune last Thursday.

yea, you should be able to get your 60' down to the low 1.7's, that will put you in the 12.2's maybe even the 12.1's. So there is a lot of room to grow:beer:
