Is anyone interested in going to Apex for dyno runs? Maybe we can make a day of it, meet each other and see what our cars can do? The East Coast guys always seem to have all the fun, maybe we can do a West Coast thing? A dyno day? Or does anyone know if one is coming up that we can attend? How about a get together at Sac? Just a thought.

Count me in!

A "dyno day" is considerable less expense than individual runs.

Alright three! I e-mailed Apex and Mustang Ranch to see what they have to say. :burnout:

Maybe I should post in the other Forums to check for interest too?

Cool! Would you mind posting in the Lightning Forum to check for interest Larry? Or maybe you might know some from there that would be interested?

I'm interested, but is 500 miles on the car too soon to dyno?
I'm not sure. Some say to let it get loose with more miles, but others have run theirs on the dyno with low miles on it. I have 3200 or so now.

Oh, I haven't received a reply from Apex or Mustang Ranch yet either. I'll post when I do.

It's a good thing the miles on your car don't grow as fast as your post count.;-)

HAHA!

OK guys, I got an e-mail from Apex. Here it is.

--, yes, we do host Dyno Days. Our normal dyno sessions (3 runs with air/fuel ratio monitoring) run $100, but for groups such as SVT Performance, we give a 25% discount, which works out to a cost of $75 per car. Typically, we require ten cars for a Dyno Day. Max capacity is about sixteen cars.
If you'd like to schedule it, just let me know, and I'll figure out the available Saturdays in the coming months. Thanks!

I haven't received a reply from Mustang Ranch yet. Does this sound OK to everyone so far?
