I just got the registration bill for my 00R, which is due in November. Because the VLF fund has been suspended, I get to pay the full amount, which is $719.

Did I mention I am moving to Florida? This is the last straw.

considering the '00r costs just about twice as much as the 03 that's about what i figured. in '97 i paid 691 for my expedition's tags and that cost less than my cobra. :(

$251 right here.....We got away this time because we bought our cars early....but for people who bought there cars after October....they're gonna have to pay handsomely.

Just wait....next year we'll get ours:(

Ouch, that sucks

I paid $375 and $65 of that went to renew my vanity plate. this was in June.

If it had been in August, i would of ended up paying close to $1200.

This is total bs. People cant afford this high of registration. The motorists pay for the state gov incompetency.. Its complete shit. I voted to out his ass. Arnold couldnt do any worse. Hell, he might do a hell of a lot better. Bustamante would be suicidal in office.

Lot's of states are looking appealing. Florida wouldnt be bad at all. Lots of beautiful houses and all. I just couldnt hang with the humidity.

You are not alone. Every Calif. working stiff...rich and poor is going to be hit. Florida Lisc. fee for your car is a one time out of state $100 then $38 per year. And, they have better highways and you must be a legal United States citizen to drive there. How novel!

The quick answer is A R N O L D
