LOL maybe he thought it should read "and" rather than "an" that's a common mistake I see people make
My guess is he thinks since "LS" begins with a consonant instead of a vowel that "a" would be the correct usage. However everyone knows it's not how the word is spelled but how it's pronounced that determines that. Well, not everyone....
