^^But the plane was moving. As was stated, it is wind speed going over the wings that creates lift. That little plane doesn't need much to get off the ground.

The plane moves because regardless of the treadmills speed it will move. The engines provide thrust. A plane would move with skis on a slick surface. Or water.

Wheels are for the support of the craft only. Thrust will force the object forward no matter what's underneath. The earth at the equator spins at a 1000 mph, and that has no affect in any direction of take off. Wind? That's a different story.

Everyone that doesn't think that plane will take off should have to be onboard for a proof of theory. However their are stakes to this. When it takes off (and it will) it doesn't land until that big black dude from the memes has his way with you.
