Yup. Not my picture but I was there twice at Subic Bay. Everything you ever heard is likely true.
Pretty sure I would have came out married to a LBFMPBR if I ever went, probably for the best I never did lol.
A lot of guys did marry one, and a lot of guys regretted it. One guy in my division wanted to but was talked out of it by one of the commanding officers.
I never had any doubts, Thailand solidified that reality for me lol.
That pic looks like its from the 90's, wasnt as popular back the but still was always a risk. Its not like Boys Town or anything crazy like that.
The Benny Boys were around but were not in the bars soliciting like in the picture. You had to ask for them.
