Yea, and if you can figure out how to put two on your car your MPG will be like 90.:lol1:

Yeah, all you would need is like a Y pipe. I'm sure it can be done, but clearance would be a biatch!!

I'm not even going to talk to her about this, she will probably think I'm nuts.

If you are actually getting that kind of mileage I'd be scared out of my mind. Have you considered how unimaginable lean your car would have to be running to get ~40 MPG knowing that every other single cobra documented on this board running at even close to a safe / sane A/F is running 12 - 20 MPG.

I'd be worried if I were you, not excited.

You better figure this out quick, or your engine will "figure it out" for you brother.

Maybe he is running 13" wheels and tires on the rear and his trip meter is racking the miles up faster than reality. ;-)

What was you miles/gallon an the very next tankful? Maybe, despite fuel spillage, the tank did not fill all the way.

Is your odometer accurate? Did it seem like you drove 110 miles?

Take your car back to your dealer immediatly! Have your mpg confirmed by your dealer, then demand a full refund of the gas guzzler tax you paid in your msrp. Seriously something's just not right.

Also check and make sure your odometer is reading correctly. A simple way to do this is pick a destination more than just a couple of miles and use www.mapquest.com to determine the distance (while this will not be entirely accurate it should show any discrepancies). Verify that your odometer reads about the same.

I have gotten good gas mileage in my time but nothing like you have described. I have to agree with slythetove get it checked out you could be running real lean.

Could some one be pulling a prank on you? Putting extra gas in your car when you aren't looking?

Sorry to double post..

But a thought came to mind is it possible his odometer is reading kilometers instead of miles?
