Great write up and nice setup. I'm curious, why did you pick Paxton over Vortec?

My mind was polluted by visions of 850-900 horsepower someday after a built short block all the while knowing in my mind I will likely never build a motor.

This was my first centri experience and if I did it again I would have gone v3 vortec instead. The smaller head unit will come in quicker giving better low end response with less belt slip as an added benefit.

The v3 is a PERFECT match to a stock motor and will still give next to 800 whp max effort.

I'm going to be the lame ass here and ask how much mpg you're getting at 70 & 75 mph lol.

All these belt slipping threads has me thinking about putting in the 3.31 when I do torque booster.

MPG was improved over the 3.73s.

Now it will do 20-21 on the highway... not bad considering ID1000s.

Whoa... I get 22-23mpg on the highway with 3.73s. Insert obligatory "dafuq"? Lol.

Lund tuned, Bosch 1000cc injectors, 3.6 pulley on the paxton, 93octane, catless x with quad gt500s

Wonder how much I'd get with the 3.31...
My friends stock 2013 got 28mpg on a long interstate trip with stock 3.31s. His car was totally stock and even on stock tune though.

That was a rough estimate.

Can't say I hand calculate each tank on my 600 hp weekend car.

Lol. To each his own tho.

Well I meant you have a MPG calcuator in the dash right? Is yours not a premium? I'm going off what that says for mine lol
