I purchased this mess a couple weeks ago. A lot more of a project than I wanted but I have some extra free time to work on it. It's an '88 GT, no motor or trans. I have uncovered some damage but nothing that won't be too hard to fix. At some point it was ran up on a tall curb or something. The core support is curled, rockers crushed, the fenders under the trim are smashed, and will get a full floor pan. The wiring is butchered too and will get an entire harness.

I picked up these OEM cobra wheels to put off to the side for the finished product.

Other than the floor pan it's mostly surface, nothing that can't be taken care of. I'm sure the T Tops leaked bad and the car was sitting outside for years.

Hey SVT,

Looks like you have some work ahead of you but it looks like a blast of a project!

What are your plans for her? I'm sure she will clean up well.

Let me know if you need any help along the way!

I'm sure I will be picking many brains on this project. Its been a long time since I've had a fox and this is missing a lot of parts and is pretty much butchered. Everything I need is available, just going to take patience and time. Not sure on the motor, was going to go Coyote swap but may stick to the pushrod 5.0 with a turbo. Going with black interior and keeping the cobra skirts, bumpers and spoiler. It's basically going to be a new 1988 car when done. I want to be able to jump in it and drive across country with no worries.

I picked up some parts from NE Ohio this past week. Floor and rockers from a vert car with all bracing for the convertible, should strengthen the car up.

Awesome man. I'm planning on doing a junkyard/used parts build. Gonna make a nice little 280hp cruiser.
