I find it hard to believe that SVTP doesn't have at least a few bald guys.

As for me, I get it done every 2 weeks, 2 all around with a fade in the back (just on the hair line).

Winter for me I pay for a "ceasar" cut @ Thanksgiving and maybe Christmas.
Summer, andis clippers-no gaurd.

I had my wife cut it for years, now she's gone so I go to a barber shop. #1 on the sides #2 on top.

And I get mine done every 2 weeks. Number 2 on the back and sides and then shorten the bangs.

well since I do a little more than take clippers to my head, I think its a little cheesy to cut your own hair. My barber does a nice fade and actually uses scissors, which is a touch more difficult by yourself.

I will give you that if all that barber is doing is using clippers you might as well do it yourself.

I more than happily deal with the $28 every 3 weeks.

I put the 1/4" guide on my clippers and go to town when it gets to long.

I like to keep it simple, so I usually do it myself and just get my dad to touch up on the back where I can't get.

I used to have one of two people cut my hair years ago, they both quit the profession and I couldn't find anyone else that could cut it the way I want it. I have been cutting my own for 14 years now and cut it every other weekend.

I figure at about $15 a haircut, I've saved about $5460 although I don't see that money laying around.

Just cut mine today, takes about 10 minutes. Only part that sucks is the back.
