Quick & easy test for belt slip.

I would think that you need to be careful with the this stuff. Let's say there is no more belt slip and that you gain .5 - 1.5 lbs. of boost by using this stuff. I would think that this would be really bad considering that your car was tuned with the belt slipping. Might want to check to see if you are getting lean up top because you gained some boost up there. My $0.02

i don't think it would add that much boost, it would just help at high RPMs when the boost starts to drop off

After I saw this thread last week I went to Autozone and picked up a can of STP Belt Dressing ( $2.99 ) and it does work. Now I usually hit the belt with some before I go out, and you can definately feel a difference if you had some slip before, especially up top. You can also feel that the dressing is still on the belt after a day of driving, still a bit sticky to the touch. Great lil' mod. :rockon:
