RACE STAR 15s versus the 17s

ok I am about to buy the set of Race star direct drill front runners. . .
simple question since the 17x4.5s are so damn expensive alone plus I can not find anyone that makes a tire for that wheel besides m&h is it gonna be cheaper to just convert from the stock 11 gt brakes to the smaller 05-09 front brakes ?

Because the i would have to buy new rotors and pads and calipers than buy the 15s and tires

*sigh* its alot of work and I can not find anyone that wants to get rid of their older modle stock brakes. . .


so much money just for a set of wheels for that front of this damned ole car lol

Yes it would be a little cheaper to switch to the 05-09 brakes. I don't think you need the calipers though, just the caliper brackets and rotors.

The caliper brackets and rotors are all you need. I bought some off a forum member from a 2010. The 15's open up a lot of tire options vs the 17's.
