Real carbon fiber roof for 94-04 mustangs
Company is HCM. I don’t know the weight saving, but it’s a cool idea.

I have their CF bumper letter inserts. Pretty good quality but there's a member on here that said some of his stuff from them has yellowed over time.
Why do we have two separate threads about this?

It looks nice in my opinion, but I cringe when I see major mods like this. At some point, someone will want the car to be all stock and this would be a tough one to undo.
I think when someone makes a mod like this they've already crossed a few lines. Such as the SRA swap and probably an auto swap. I would think this would be more popular with the race car crowd than the street guys. Just my opinion.
If people want it done, I would seriously swap the roof skin for them. In my eyes it is an easy way to make a few dollars as long as the carbon is consistent.I started it here then a minute later realized it should be in the exterior interior mod area.
Funny thing is it’s gotten more views/responses here. Go figure.
I agree it needs a mechanically experienced installer honestly.
Nice. I wouldn't mind seeing a few pics.I have one of these for sale in iowa for 200 cash picked up. its painted. nice fitment.
That would be my concern as well. The fit would have to be perfect. Looks that way in the photo, but I'd definitely want a solid warranty. It would not be a pleasant experience to get their product installed and then discover a new leak. Suddenly both the installer and the supplier are pointing fingers at each other. Not saying leaks would be an issue, but I'd want an assurance from both supplier and installer. JMO.Cool, but seems like it would be inviting new leaks around the windshield.
Only reason they have that roof template is someone paid to have their very converted to full carbon (looks terrible) and they started R&Din parts.
