Texas or England - It just depends...
Sometimes, albeit rarely, I get a little tug for my old BAB. She's been gone what, 6 months now? She wasn't fast, but she handled well, and she sure was pretty.

She's in good hands... :D

Plus she's getting some power, I was sick of being beat up on by scions.

I miss my first brand new car I bought. 98 Eclipse GSX at the age of 21. 28K for a car was a lot back then. I kept it for 5 yrs. Car had Ported heads, HKS 264/272 cams, Eagle Rods, Venolia pistons, full arp bolts, Full 3" exhaust, 720cc injectors, DSM link, T3/T4 60 trim Turbo, FMIC, forged wheels, full suspension you name it. 2 transmissions, 4 clutches, 2 sets of u joints and a drive shaft later I had to let it go. I bet I dumped 35-40K into that thing including the purchase price. What really made me say **** it I have had enough was after I had the motor built it got "crankwalk" 125 miles into break in. $1400 to fix it on top of the $5500 in parts and labor to build the motor and I was done with it. Sad thing was, I never even took any pics of it. I do have a VHS video of it I recorded in 2000 but thats it. Sold it and bought a brand new STI in 03 which I definately do not regret selling after 8 months of ownership. Should have never bought it.

My baby was my 1996 T/A 6spd. I always was a GM guy and when I bought the car when I was 16 it was my dream come true. It wasn't a true ws6 but it had a ram air hood and intake and I transformed that car so much. I sold it early may and have missed it ever since everyday :(.

When i bought it....

I think I followed you down 35 from Dallas on night...

Probably. I lived in Dallas for a year and would drive home to Killeen to see friends and family pretty frequently. Small world, eh?

Edit: Matter of fact, didn't I talk to you at a gas station?

I regret every car I sell for one reason or another. Though I end up hating every car im currently driving at some point in my ownership, either payments, car issues, rattles/squeaks/clunks/noises, etc. GST is annoying the piss out of me due to some front end suspension clunk that has came back, even though the entire front end has been fully replaced with OEM stuff (not cheap), replaced tie-rod ends and endlinks twice now. Next up is the sway bar bushings.

does anyone have any regrets selling a past love? please share.

here is my regret, my 05 acura TL... still missing her. :(

Don't regret selling any of mine, although, I've only sold two cars. Had a 86 300ZX when I was in high school that I sold for a 94 Mustang GT. I then sold the 94 GT for my 10th Anniversary Cobra. I loved my 94 GT, but I had it for around 10 years and was ready for something new. It was hard to let it go at the time.

Miss the hell out of both cars I sold. I had an 01GT with 27K miles on it, white with black interior, hands down one of the cleanest mustangs Ive ever seen. When I got it up on the lift before buying it there wasnt a spec of rust, and everything was super clean. The only downside to the car was it was an auto.. so naturally I wanted to get into a stick car, which brings me to the next car I regret selling. The 2004 Azure blue Mach1. car was soo much fun for a daily, moved pretty decent, and got tons of attention. I laughed when my buddies girl told me she liked it better than his red C5Z . Had to sell the Mach when I busted myself up real bad and lost the job..

All I know is Im keeping the 94 I have for life after seeing how much I miss these cars, and Ive only had them for a fraction of the time Ive had the 94 for(1st car I bought when I was 15).

i remember my dad looking for a new car in 94 and we test drove a dark green 1992 sho, he ended up getting a 94 tbird. i finally bought a 1994 SHO a week after high school graduation in 02. was a bright red AT 3.2. car was mint. had exactly 50,123 miles on it when i got it and was still rockin the original tires. was parked in a garage every day since new, bought it from a 73 year old woman. no pics on this computer, but my god i still miss that car.

we need a thread about vehicles you regret BUYING lol.

I will get in on that, I regret buying a brand new harley in the summer of 08. It hasn't been running in about a year and the dealership refuses to work on it.

Everytime I go to a car show with my old man he always bitches about selling his 34 Chevy that he put a 427/4spd in. That would have been a fun car!
