Removal of A-pillar trim

I have a 03 Convertable and I am trying to remove the driver side a-pillar trim on the inside to get at the area between the dash and the a-pillar to apply some felt to get rid of an annoying squeek and creak coming from that area. How do I pull this trim off with out breaking those "dealer only" clips that hold it on. I want to fix a problem not creat more issues. Thanks in advance for the help!
