Looking to replace the stock TOB retainer with a LP piece. The T-56 already had the input shaft replaced with a 26-spline D&D piece. Will I need to check for proper end play on the input shaft? Or will I just need to R&R the retainer? What do you use to seal the transmission case?
I've done a search but most replaced the input shaft along with the retainer, not the retainer alone.
